Shane's Grassy Oppy

Here is the latest in my King Island Gothic series - paint's still wet!

SHANE'S GRASSY OPPY   oil on canvas;  106 cm x 122 cm

Shane was running the Op Shop (Goodwill Store, Charity Shop, whatever your culture calls it) in Grassy when I visited King Island. Besides the usual bric-a-brac and pre-loved clothing (I found a gorgeous black jacket for a ludicrously low price) the shop was full of his paintings, sculptures and odd assemblages. If you spot a bit of pagan imagery there, well done.
